Whenever I think about why I take pictures, I am always reminded of this quote. There is something about the fleeting nature of life coupled with the almost heartbreaking beauty of it all that draws me to slow down and try to capture a place and a time as it will never be again. My purpose in taking pictures of your children or family is to offer you the chance to capture a season, a day, an expression.

I am primarily an on-location, natural light photographer. I believe in the importance of a space that allows your family to be their most authentic selves. I want your kiddos to feel free to run, laugh, explore and create and for you as their parents to enjoy them being who they are. My hope is that you’ll leave a session with me feeling like you took some time to enjoy your children and the family that you are together.

I believe that great family photos have value beyond price.  I also believe that great family photos should not be a luxury item.  I am very intentional about pricing myself in the tension of those two beliefs.  If you are interested in setting up a shoot or finding out more information please contact me and I will send you a pdf of my price list and FAQ’s to help you plan for your shoot.  Session fee is $100.
