Officially, Nolen Photography is made up of us, Corey and Erin Nolen. However, we also include the cutest baby boy in the world, a rambunctious and slightly annoying Golden Retriever, some wonderful babysitters and assistants, and several always willing to help out grandparents. To say we have been surprised to have a business doing what we love would definitely be an understatement. After spending years wondering how to fuse our passions with our every day life, we still spend most of our days in disbelief at just how much we love going to work each morning. Going to work looks different for each of us as we share different aspects of the process from shooting to returning a finished product. Depending on the type of shoot, you'll usually find one of us at the helm and the other assisting. We take turns, we know one another's strengths, and we absolutely love working together.
To us, nothing's really worth doing if you don't know your purpose in doing it. We have always loved photography because we believe that it offers to us the privilege of capturing a moment, an expression, an event in time that we cannot have again. As photographers, we desire to capture the life in other people's stories.
